Bali, the "island of the gods", is arguably one of the most famous surf destinations on the planet. We have great weather, great waves, and with the two coasts (East and West), the surfing season lasts basically all year long! Popular spots are Uluwatu, Medewi, Keramas, Balangan, and Canggu.
But for us, the waves are more than just surfing. They are part of our heritage, our culture. Bali is an island, and as such we are constantly exposed to the sea and to the waves. We have Balinese sea gods, which are worshipped in the Seven sea temples (such as Tanah Lot), built along the coasts and constantly exposed to the elements. Fishermen, sailors, Balinese... we are all connected to the sea, and the waves are our sisters.
The "Ombak" bracelet is the celebration of the waves that are a constant presence on the shores of Bali, inviting surfers and admirers from all over the world. We chose the vibrant blue from the tiger eye with the shiny gold from the hematite to recall the waves and the gleaming sun. A bold beautiful bracelet to capture the essence of the Balinese ocean.
