Our Artisans

Kemulan wrap bracelets are handcrafted by local Balinese artisans. Each artisan includes a “signature” on their bracelets via a unique 3-stone sequence. Meet your artisans below and match their signature.

Supporting our Community

Kemulan hires artisans from across the island— including remote villages. Kemulan’s efficient process allows our family of artisans to work from home so they can tend to house duties, and for many, care for their children. Kemulan provides the team with all materials and tools needed to craft bracelets. This helps keep our overhead costs low, which allows us to pay our artisans above-average wages.

Bali has always loved welcoming visitors from around the world with open arms. As we became accustomed to hosting our international friends, when Indonesia closed its doors to foreign travelers in 2020, many means of livelihoods were upended.  By purchasing a Kemulan bracelet you directly support families and remote communities across Bali.  For your support, each artisan includes a handwritten letter of thanks.
